02 — Inside the Platform

Six priorities.
One blueprint.

Built from nearly 2,000 St. Louisans — from elders to youth, home cooks to farmers. Six connected priorities to strengthen civic infrastructure so every neighborhood can grow stronger, live longer, and access good food.

Priority 01

Know More

Build knowledge. Shift power.

The why

Democratize food system knowledge to shift power, increase transparency, and hold institutions accountable.

Too many food decisions are made without those most impacted. KNOW MORE builds civic capacity by making food systems visible, understandable, and accountable — so residents can lead and institutions can respond.

This priority advances
  • 01Public tools and dashboards for transparency and data access
  • 02Education in schools, churches, and clinics about food systems and land use
  • 03A citywide Food Policy Council led by residents from every ward
  • 04Storytelling and research rooted in lived experience

Knowledge is power — but only when shared, accessible, and used to shape collective decisions.

Together, these six priorities drive sovereignty, equity, and shared prosperity.
